If you are already familiar with Italian gnocchi, then you will love Chef James’ gnocchetti sardi. Unlike conventional gnocchi, Sardinian gnocchetti contains no potato, and is made with semolina flour. Chef James’ passion for cooking is well-paired to his Italian and Spanish-inspired creations.
Learn to make the regional gnocchetti from the island of Sardinia as well as Chef James’ signature sauce of San Marzano tomatoes, sweet Italian sausage, white wine and saffron. Enjoy a platter of antipasti to start and follow with a green salad. End on a sweet note with a traditional quesada pasiega from Cantabria, Spain.
